The only common components between the first and second rounds on this course are the fairways - there are only nine of them, but golfers play off different sets of tees to different greens on each nine.

Confusing ? A little perhaps, but the variety of tee and green placings on this 'double-nine' course make most of the holes appear completely dissimilar.

As Gramacho is the only course of this type in Europe, it is well worthwhile trying it out for a round or two.

Like its sister course, the conventional 18-hole Vale de Pinta on the same site, there are four sets of tees for each of the eighteen individual holes. Players can choose the tees which best suit their ability.
Although ideal for holiday golf, Gramacho includes some fine testing holes
