Salgados is the newest golf course in the Algarve and the land on which it was built has a long and varied history. Converted from a former aircraft landing strip and wetland area adjacent to a bird sanctuary, much planning and design has resulted in a unique course.

It has the feel and ambience of a Scottish links course but with a Florida atmosphere - lots of sun and water.

Lakes abound and most holes are influenced by water hazards. The course is compact and affords the golfer a true test of skill and accuracy.
